Job Details

Job Summary:
Conducts specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab, supporting cardiologists in patient care and treatment. Ensures the safe and effective operation of lab equipment while adhering to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate diagnostic imaging and interventional equipment for procedures.
• Assist cardiologists during complex catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort throughout interventions.
• Maintain sterile environment and strictly follow infection control protocols.
• Document procedural details accurately in patient records.
• Ensure proper equipment sterilization and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Certified Cardiovascular or Radiologic Technologist with relevant credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a cath lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedural protocols, and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
