Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician with experience in Cardiac Catheterization and at least one additional modality such as Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency across two of these four specialties, reflected in their work history.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scrub technician duties in the Cath Lab, ensuring sterile technique and procedural readiness.
- Assist clinicians during complex interventional procedures including cardiac, vascular, or neuro interventions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment sanitation before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide timely support during interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and clinical data in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least 18 months of experience in Cath Lab or related specialty, with 2 years preferred.
- Certified or registered as a Cardiovascular Technician (RCVT preferred).
- Hold current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications; RCIS credential preferred.
- Demonstrate experience in at least two modalities among Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro.
- Ability to work within a floating scope to support facility needs across multiple hospital locations.
