Job Summary:


Seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to deliver compassionate, specialized patient care on a night shift schedule. The role offers potential to float to related units, ensuring comprehensive patient management within a dynamic hospital environment.



Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in accordance with established protocols.
  
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and recognize abnormal patterns promptly.
  
• Administer medications and treatments following approved guidelines, ensuring patient safety.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
  
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
  
• Comply with all facility policies, including holiday coverage requirements and travel compliance standards.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an active Ohio license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
  
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, perm experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry within the past 12 months.
  
• Have current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with no pending updates.
  
• Be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
  
• Provide two professional references from recent supervisors in the specialty.
  
• Demonstrate flexibility to work every other holiday and adhere to travel compliance requirements.
