Job Summary:
Providing skilled nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients on a rotating night and day shift, with potential floating to various units, including emergency department. Ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and recognize abnormal findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth unit operations.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Comply with all hospital policies, including safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Require a minimum of 18 months of recent, combined perm experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Hold a valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at submission.
• Active and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.
• Experience working in hospital settings and handling variable shifts preferred.
• Ability to work every other holiday as scheduled.
