Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition regularly.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Meditechs system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Implement unit-specific policies and procedures, including patient education and safety protocols.
• Float between units as required, maintaining flexibility and team support.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills in med-surg procedures and patient care.
• Show ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to schedule requests.
• Maintain professionalism and a compassionate approach to patient care.
