Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and document findings accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Perform clinical procedures including IV management, CVC care, and use of respiratory equipment.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Proficient in using Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems.
• Outstanding communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care skills.
• Ability to perform procedures such as managing indwelling catheters and heparin gtts.
• BLS certification required.
