Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Oncology Medical-Surgical floor. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive treatment and ensure patient safety throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and oncologic treatments in accordance with hospital policies.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings accurately, and communicate updates to multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including telemetry monitoring and IV start procedures.
• Participate in patient education regarding treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Cerner and Soarian systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent MedSurg nursing experience; 3+ years for CPU.
• Possess BLS certification and experience with telemetry and IV starts.
• Oncology experience highly preferred.
• Travel experience and proficiency with Cerner and Soarian EMRs preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4x12 schedule, with flexibility for block scheduling.
