Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, managing a varied patient population from adolescents to geriatrics. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery by adhering to clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia or a Compact state at time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to operate EPIC and other clinical systems proficiently.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and floating within scope of practice.
