Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced MedSurg RN to provide compassionate patient care on an Oncology floor. This 13-week assignment with potential extension requires night shifts and block scheduling preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient conditions, including telemetry and IV sites.
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner and Soarian EMR systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Manage high patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7, demonstrating clinical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active certification.
• Minimum one year of recent MedSurg experience; oncology experience highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage patient ratios of 1:6 or higher.
• BLS certification required; Telemetry and IV start skills essential.
• At least one year of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Cerner and Soarian.
