Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech is responsible for preparing operating rooms, ensuring the availability of supplies and equipment, and maintaining sterile techniques throughout surgical procedures. They support surgeons and operating room staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and arrange operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist surgical teams by passing instruments and handling specimens.
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of surgical equipment and supplies.
• Document all surgical procedures and equipment usage accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and surgeons to ensure patient safety during surgery.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of recent surgical tech experience.
• Possess BLS certification, with additional trauma experience preferred.
• Maintain a valid state license or certification applicable to surgical technology.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
