Job Summary:


Seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on a PCU/Stepdown unit. The role involves providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on telemetry and progressive care.



Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical-surgical and step-down needs.
  
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment, ensuring bedside monitors are properly wired and functioning.
  
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
• Document patient information accurately in Cerner EMR system.
  
• Respond promptly to patient needs and evolving conditions, ensuring patient safety.
  
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Valid RN license without restrictions.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care or PCU experience.
  
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring.
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and exhibit a positive attitude.
  
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
