Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a leading hospital. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, acute care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU, including telemetry and step-down units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and update patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Float to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license from the state of North Carolina or eligible for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care or step-down experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a high-volume environment.
