Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to provide compassionate and high-quality patient care on a rotating D/N schedule. The role involves floating between units and potentially to the ED, ensuring patient needs are met consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patients.
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, interpret ECG rhythms, and recognize cardiac arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards, including holiday assignments.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio or Compact State RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, continuous Med/Surg/Telemetry experience, preferably within a single facility.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 18 months of combined perm experience in the specialty, travel experience acceptable.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score.
• Provide two recent management references within the past 12 months.
