Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and recovery through technical skill and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical symptoms regularly.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at application.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications without pending status.
• Proven ability to recognize and interpret ECG rhythms and conduct safe medications administration.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments (acceptable scores required).
• References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months.
