Job Summary:

Seeking a Certified OR Tech with expertise across multiple specialties including ortho, neuro, general, ENT, urology, OB/GYN, and trauma. The ideal candidate will support surgical teams in a fast-paced acute care setting, ensuring compliance with all certification and experience requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and management of surgical cases across various specialties.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and aseptic procedures during surgeries.
• Support surgical team members by setting up operating rooms and handling surgical equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the charting system, preferably EPIC.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs while providing exceptional patient care.
• Comply with hospital policies, including certification, work history verification, and RTO requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold NBSTSA certification as an OR Tech.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical OR experience, including 1 year travel experience.
• Demonstrate experience with EPIC charting systems (EPIC experience preferred).
• Possess current CA State RN Licensure, uploaded to Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• Maintain applicable certifications (AHA or ARC), with valid expiration dates.
• Able to work every other weekend and adapt to on-call opportunities if offered.
