Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU/Stepdown unit within an acute care hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, monitor clinical status, and perform necessary procedures to support patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient vital signs regularly.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to track patient cardiac and respiratory status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in the EMR.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or PCU/Stepdown experience.
• Proven proficiency with telemetry monitoring and acute patient care procedures.
• Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work flexible rotating weekends and on-call shifts.
