Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown unit. Maintain clinical excellence while ensuring patient safety and comfort within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assess patient conditions regularly and document findings accurately in EPIC.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
• Float within the hospital to cover different units as needed, maintaining flexibility.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state nursing license, with multi-state or NC license required.
• Demonstrate proficiency and recent experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in IMC, Tele, or PCU settings.
• Have at least 2 years of travel nursing experience.
• Maintain valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (all current and via AHA).
• Be able to provide a current NURSYS report and Qualivis cover sheet.
