Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (OR RN) supports surgical services by providing direct perioperative patient care and coordination of the operating room workflow. This role partners with the surgical team to maintain safe, patient-centered practices throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver perioperative nursing care, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative recovery assistance.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols throughout all surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to the surgical team.
• Prepare and manage documentation and charting activities, including Epic-based workflows.
• Assist with room readiness by supporting supplies, equipment checks, and procedure turnover.
• Perform patient advocacy duties, including verifying safety checks and maintaining compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Oregon CNA license in hand (no pending or expired licenses accepted).
• Hold an active Oregon RN license or an RN license in pending status.
• Maintain current BLS certification; possess ACLS as a preferred qualification.
• Bring at least 2 years of operating room experience.
• Demonstrate Epic charting experience (required).
• Possess strong knowledge of perioperative safety, infection control, and clinical documentation standards.
