Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various surgical specialties and prepared to work in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre-operatively and ensure readiness for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms and equipment.
• Provide intraoperative nursing care, assisting with various surgical procedures across specialties.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to changes during surgery.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including sterile techniques and infection control.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in Epic electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington RN license or license application in process.
• Minimum of 2 years of trauma experience, with proficiency in ortho, neuro, gen/trauma, vascular, and robotic surgery.
• Well-rounded experience in high-acuity surgical cases and familiarity with Level II trauma protocols.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in Epic electronic medical records.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment.
