Job Summary:
The OR RN is responsible for providing specialized perioperative nursing care to surgical patients during their procedures. This role requires collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and sterile supplies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately within the Epic charting system.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients to ensure seamless surgical experiences.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Oregon RN license (pending licensure acceptable; must have Oregon CNA license in hand).
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Possess current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Have experience with Epic charting system.
• Be a first-time traveler; recent OR experience required.
• Maintain active certifications as listed in the job description, including updated Nursys/CNA license.
