Job Summary:
Backfill - Travel - Tech - Cath Lab (746) - HCA Florida Kendall Regional - 7:00AM - 5:30PM provides sterile support for interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment. The Cath Lab Tech will scrub and assist during cases, ensuring accurate setup, safety compliance, and effective documentation support.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist with cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures
• Prepare, set up, and maintain sterile field and procedure-ready equipment
• Support interventional therapies including angiography, stent placement, and balloon procedures
• Assist during specialized cath lab cases, including ENT lab procedures (as applicable)
• Verify instrumentation, supplies, and imaging-related readiness prior to and during procedures
• Maintain required documentation practices using Meditech and MacLab workflows

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS and ACLS certification
• Demonstrate competency as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Possess RCIS and ARRT credentials (required preferences)
• Operate effectively in a high-tempo cath lab setting with ability to work independently
• Perform scrubbing responsibilities safely while maintaining strict sterile technique
• Adapt quickly to unit processes and documentation systems
