Job Summary:
Seeking a MedSurg RN to provide compassionate and expert care to patients in a busy medical-surgical unit. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes or complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly using Epic electronic charting system.
• Support unit staffing needs by floating within scope and covering assigned patients.

Qualifications:

• RN license in South Carolina or Compact State prior to start date.
• Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg RN experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, insulin administration, and rapid response protocols.
• Ability to work 4x12-hour day shifts with every other weekend commitment.
• Willingness to float and adapt to unit needs.
