Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit position. The ideal candidate will provide expert patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment with varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments per physician orders and protocol.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry strips to detect cardiac issues promptly.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid WV or Compact RN license, or pending license verification.
• Possess minimum 2 years of RN experience, including 1.5–2+ years in telemetry and stepdown units.
• Have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV start and telemetry monitoring.
• Be able to read and interpret ECG strips accurately.
• Reside at least 100 miles from the facility, with a stable work history and professional references.
