Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective nursing services during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Utilize ECG rhythm recognition skills to interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in effect at submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of full-time Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a permanent role.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications without any pending updates.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.
• Be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Provide two recent managerial references from the past 12 months.
