Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Ensure patient safety and comfort while supporting birthing processes in a hospital or birthing center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to assess progress.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing process.
• Document all clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate effective care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Possess current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Maintain NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Have C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) training or certification.
• Demonstrate experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
