Job Summary:


Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families throughout the childbirth continuum. This role supports safe delivery practices during overnight shifts, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure timely interventions.



Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct labor and delivery nursing care in accordance with clinical protocols and patient-specific plans.
  
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing changes and escalating concerns promptly.
  
• Administer medications and therapies safely while maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC.
  
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support labor progression and delivery outcomes.
  
• Prepare for and assist with urgent maternal-fetal events, maintaining a calm, effective response.
  
• Maintain standards of infection prevention and patient safety throughout all care activities.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Possess current NRP certification and maintain compliance with renewal requirements.
  
• Hold active BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of LDRP experience.
  
• Use EPIC effectively for charting and documentation.
  
• Provide evidence of willingness to float within scope as needed.
  
• Maintain reliable travel readiness, including timely submission of required compliance items (as applicable).
