Job Summary:
This position is for a Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist responsible for performing specialized imaging procedures in an IR setting. The role involves working independently to support interventional radiology procedures and ensure patient safety and imaging quality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate IR equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Assist radiologists with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring proper patient positioning and safety.
• Document procedures accurately utilizing Meditech system.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Respond to call shifts, providing on-call support during off-hours and weekends.
• Follow departmental policies and quality standards to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Proficiency in operating IR equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled call shifts, including evenings and weekends.
