Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to patients in various inpatient settings, including NICU, PICU, adult ICU, and general units. This role requires flexibility, excellent clinical skills, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Document all procedures, patient responses, and clinical observations thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices, including recent Epic EMR experience.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT will not be accepted.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Possess at least 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience.
• Demonstrate prior experience in teaching hospitals.
• Have recent Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Be able to explain and documentwork history gaps over 90 days thoroughly.
