Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, focusing on monitoring and managing patients with complex health conditions. Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through assessment, intervention, and education.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other critical parameters continuously.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including arrhythmias and respiratory issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active standing required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR documentation and workflows.
• Successful passing of the Pass/Fail EKG exam mandatory.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Willingness to float to various campus locations as needed.
