Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated registered nurse for a travel assignment in a cardiac step-down unit. The RN will provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for cardiac patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients’ cardiac status to identify changes or complications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state licensure.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac step-down or PCU setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Show excellent communication and teamwork skills.
