Job Summary:
Registered Nurse for an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting supporting telemetry/surgical care workflows. Provides high-acuity nursing, continuous cardiac monitoring interpretation, and timely interventions to promote safe patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm changes to identify dysrhythmias and clinical deterioration.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform IV therapy within scope and unit standards.
• Provide bedside assessment, initiate appropriate nursing interventions, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Implement ACLS/BLS protocols and ensure emergency preparedness during rapid response situations.
• Coordinate care delivery with the surgical and telemetry team to maintain continuity and accuracy.
• Document patient care, vital signs, and clinical events according to facility policy.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license (any state RN license accepted) and maintain compliance with licensing requirements.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certification.
• Demonstrate required EPIC experience for documentation and clinical workflows.
• Have the ability to start IV therapy and manage IV-related patient needs.
• Complete an EKG/dysrhythmia exam as required for the RN unit assignment.
• Show readiness to work nights and provide coverage every other weekend/holiday.
