Job Summary:
The Med/Surg Tele RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a hospital setting, primarily focusing on medical-surgical and telemetry units. The role includes potential to float to adjacent units and requires adherence to all clinical and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Assess patient conditions, document findings, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Recognize ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Complete required assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition tests and SafeMedicate evaluations during orientation.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and travel requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or valid Compact State license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, full-time experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry, preferably within a single facility or combined.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS active and current.
• Demonstrate ECG rhythm recognition proficiency through testing.
• Provide two recent managerial references within the past 12 months.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen within specified timeframes.
