Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated PACU Holding RN with post-operative care experience to support patient recovery and disposition processes. The role involves coordinating patient monitoring and collaborating with hospital support teams during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities:

• Manage post-operative patients who are fully recovered and awaiting transfer or discharge.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to ensure patient safety.
• Administer oxygen therapy, manage IV lines, and utilize airway management techniques.
• Respond to emergency situations using Rapid Response and Code teams protocols.
• Document clinical care accurately in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Collaborate effectively with Float PCT and support staff to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Current NY RN license with at least 1 year of recent RN experience, preferably in post-op or telemetry.
• Proficient in Cardiac Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV management.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and oxygen therapy.
• Able to complete required modules (up to 10 hours), with 5 billable hours.
• EPIC experience is mandatory for charting.
• Capable of floating to med-surg units as needed.
