Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech therapy services to patients in outpatient or inpatient settings, ensuring comprehensive assessment and treatment planning to support communication and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed evaluations and screenings to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices and patient needs.
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and clinical notes accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and facility policies, including obtaining and maintaining required radiation badges.
• Adapt therapy approaches and schedules to meet patient needs and facility requirements while adhering to scheduled shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent credential.
• Possess South Carolina state licensure or demonstrate eligibility to obtain it.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including possibly shorter days or 4-day workweeks.
• Be able to obtain and maintain necessary radiation badges as required.
