Job Summary:
The Cath Lab/EP Technologist is responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. They support physicians and nursing staff by preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate specialized catheterization lab equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including setting up devices and ensuring proper functioning.
• Obtain and interpret vital signs, rhythm strips, and EKG settings; monitor patient status throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and recording supplies via electronic systems.
• Document procedure details accurately and assist with patient transfer and post-procedure care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or EP lab settings.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV certifications.
• Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella systems, and CSI ratio/census management.
• Proficient in EKG analysis, rhythm interpretation, and patient vitals monitoring.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with floating assignments within the facility.
• GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
