Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to support an overflow unit specializing in post-surgical and observation care. The role involves transitioning to team nursing and requires adherence to strict compliance and scheduling policies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Tele environment.
• Support the transition to team nursing by collaborating with team members.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document clinical observations accurately.
• Follow all facility protocols and safety guidelines to ensure patient well-being.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state or a compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care RN experience, including at least 1 travel assignment.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC and recent Med Surg experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00).
• Strong understanding of post-surgical and observation patient care.
