Job Summary:
Seeking a highly qualified Travel ICU Registered Nurse to join a busy Medical-Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will possess critical care experience, with a focus on rapid patient assessment and advanced clinical skills, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and operate advanced equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, and telemetry monitors.
• Perform critical procedures such as central line placement, thoracentesis, and intubation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including ACLS and BLS standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in hand prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrated experience with critical drips, vents, and advanced cardiac procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with variable patient acuity.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
