Job Summary:

Provides specialized respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting, supporting critical care needs and ventilator management. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver effective respiratory therapies and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Operate and monitor advanced mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Administer breathing treatments, inhalation therapies, and aerosol medications.
• Perform ventilator assessments and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory therapies and equipment use.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Current Colorado state license or appropriate credential as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care RRT hospital experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Experience with NICU/PEDS and Level 1 Trauma settings preferred.
• Strong critical care skills and ability to work in high-energy environments.
