Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at a large acute care hospital. The role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population on a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor ventilator support for critically ill patients.
• Manage airway procedures and ensure optimal oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain and operate advanced respiratory equipment, including Hamilton G5/C1/T1 and V60 ventilators.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CRT or NBRC credential.
• Possess a minimum of 6 months current acute care RRT hospital experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with ventilator management and airway procedures.
• Prior Meditech EMR experience and PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred.
