Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at a 240-bed acute care facility. The role involves providing advanced respiratory therapies within ICU, NICU, ED, and Med-Surg units, supporting ventilator management and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and ventilator setups in various hospital units.
• Assist with patient intubation and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory therapies and equipment.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain documentation in the Meditech EMR system according to hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CRT or NBRC credential.
• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Have experience with ventilator management, ABGs, and intubation procedures.
• Prefer candidates with prior Meditech, PICU, or NICU experience.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and ability to work autonomously.
