Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients across various clinical settings, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Ensure patient safety and optimal respiratory function through direct interventions and management.

Responsibilities:

• Administer ventilator management and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Perform medicated aerosol treatments, Bipap management, and open heart procedures.
• Conduct intubations, arterial blood gas (ABG) draws, and analysis to assess respiratory status.
• Implement protocols for Covid management, nitric oxide therapy, and other advanced respiratory interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and adjust respiratory treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and patient responses within electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist (RT).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; additional certifications like GA State License preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapist experience; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Proficiency with Epic, Servo I, GE, Hamilton, and PB840 systems.
• Ability to manage complex ventilator and airway procedures in a fast-paced environment.
