Job Summary:

Provides specialized respiratory care to patients, assessing, treating, and managing respiratory conditions. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to patient needs and physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Conduct diagnostic testing such as blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment use, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist within a hospital setting.
• Hold active NBRC RRT credential.
• Maintain current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, variable schedule environment.
