Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in a hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive birthing outcomes through expert clinical practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prenatal, labor, and postpartum assessments to monitor fetal and maternal health.
• Assist OB/GYN physicians and family practitioners during deliveries and postpartum procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and clinical observations.
• Support lactation consultants and coordinate mother-baby care activities.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any irregularities with appropriate interventions.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards for labor and delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the State of Minnesota.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess NRP certification or be willing to obtain.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience.
• Complete Fetal Heart Monitoring course preferred.
• Bring at least 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience.
