Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a maternity unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive birthing experiences through professional clinical support.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal and maternal health indicators during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications, including BLS, ACLS, and NRP protocols, as needed.
• Assist with patient assessments, and maintain documentation in Epic EMR system.
• Support the delivery process and assist with postpartum recovery, collaborating with PACU nurses.
• Follow AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and care standards.
• Rotate through scheduled weekends and holidays, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications; STABLE preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Ability to work a 7a-7p or 7p-7a shift schedule.
• Strong understanding of fetal and maternal monitoring.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
