Job Summary:
Operating Room RN provides skilled nursing care in the main OR, supporting a high-acuity, multi-specialty surgical environment. The role supports both circulating and scrub responsibilities to ensure safe, efficient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub for assigned surgical cases, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Prepare and manage operating room workflow, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and communicate changes promptly to the surgical team.
• Implement infection prevention practices and ensure compliance with facility safety protocols.
• Assist with documentation in Epic to support accurate, timely clinical records.
• Support radiation safety requirements by maintaining and using the required radiation badge.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current SC or Multi State/Compact RN license.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Complete radiation badge requirements as required for role readiness.
• Possess 2+ years of recent RN experience, with OR experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency scrubbing and/or circulating in the operating room setting.
• Ability to float within scope to meet unit needs as required.
