Job Summary:

Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Tele delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. Provides safe, evidence-based nursing interventions while coordinating effectively with the care team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor IV infusions, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Assess patients, document clinical status, and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Provide medication administration and safety checks in accordance with clinical protocols
• Manage patient care needs using telemetry/medical-surgical workflows as applicable
• Support efficient unit operations while maintaining safe staffing ratios up to 1:6–7
• Maintain compliance with required ACLS and BLS standards and continuous readiness for emergencies

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Alabama RN license or Compact License in hand at time of submission
• Possess current ACLS certification and current BLS certification
• Deliver at least 1 year of recent RN experience with Medical Surgical/Tele exposure
• Demonstrate proficiency with drips, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Maintain prior travel experience, with consideration for highly experienced candidates case-by-case
• Confirm residency requirements by meeting the 90-mile radius rule and excluding local candidates
