Job Summary:

Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room, providing safe, high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment. Assesses, triages, and treats patients using evidence-based protocols while collaborating with the care team to ensure timely interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients promptly, prioritizing based on acuity and presenting symptoms.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans according to established clinical protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, recognize deterioration, and initiate appropriate escalation as needed.
• Perform neurological assessments and document findings using NIHSS standards.
• Support emergency interventions and coordinate care transitions within the ER workflow.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and complete required onboarding modules and transcripts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license (GA or Compact) at time of submission.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with NIHSS and PALS requirements.
• Maintain readiness to care for patients across the emergency spectrum with strong assessment skills.
• Have at least 2 years of recent relevant experience in an emergency setting.
• Show Epic proficiency or the ability to quickly adapt to documentation workflows.
