Job Summary:
Registered Nurse provides assessment-based, individualized medical-surgical patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes. The Registered Nurse delivers clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift, ensuring high-quality, safe care throughout the patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans based on medical-surgical needs.
• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions and monitor patient response.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of treatment.
• Evaluate outcomes and revise the plan of care to achieve clinical goals.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to support staff and assigned team members.
• Document clinical care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Active Illinois (IL) Registered Nurse license via Nursys.
• Maintain an Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Obtain and maintain AHA ACLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Possess 3+ years of Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience (including Med Surg/Telemetry).
• Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making and patient prioritization skills.
• Submit supervisory reference forms with dates employed completed.
