Job Summary:

Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP) supports specialized cardiac electrophysiology services, including ablation and device implantation procedures. The RN provides safe, patient-centered care in an EP Lab environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth, efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac EP procedures, including assessment, education, and pre-procedure verification.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during cardiac ablations and pacemaker implantations.
• Assist with procedure support by maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring readiness of EP equipment and supplies.
• Document nursing care and relevant clinical data accurately using the assigned EMR workflow.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with EP physicians, technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and unit standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse licensure with eligibility to practice in the assigned state.
• Demonstrate prior EP experience, including cardiac ablations and implantations.
• Show experience with Abbott Ablation and Mapping systems or similar EP mapping technologies.
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a relevant procedural specialty environment.
• Perform effectively in a high-attention setting with 1:1 patient care responsibilities as required.
• Exhibit a hardworking, easy-going approach while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
