Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role involves collaborating with medical teams to deliver high-quality care during complex cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer cardiac medications and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Assist cardiologists and technicians with angioplasty, stenting, and other interventions.
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips fluoroscopy equipment and Mac Lab/Meditech systems.
• Document clinical procedures accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Kansas RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital Cath Lab experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting procedures.
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
• Experience with Mac Lab and Meditech systems is preferred.
